The decision of BMW to move to Iceland with their HPC clusters marks a significant milestone in the development of the data center industry in Iceland.  Farice welcomes BMW to Iceland and looks forward to serve their transmission needs in co-operation with COLT which provides network extension services in Europe.  The migration to Iceland is well documented in the following articles:  Information-Age, Triple-Pundit, Data Center Knowledge, Tech Week Europe, and a press release from Verne Data Center which hosts BMW.    David Chernicoff who writes forZDnet  among others claims that this is a major data center win for Iceland.
